Disney's Hercules or Disney's Superman? 

Superheroes such as Spider-Man and Superman are considered by many to be the modern equivalents of the heroes of Greek mythology.  While this is usually due to the literary concept of the hero's journey, the connections often go beyond that.  Disney’s Hercules is a rare example of Greek mythology being inspired by superheroes.  In terms of its characters, story, themes and setting, Disney’s Hercules is basically a Greek version of Superman.
